Exeter Airport is about 40km away from The Muntham Luxury Holiday Apartments and Town House and flights operate to and from diffferent parts of the UK including London as well as a number of international destinations. Travel time from the airport is only about 30 minutes.
The nearest sea port is Plymouth. From here Brittany Ferries operates services to and from Roscoff in France as well as Santander in Spain. Plymouth is about 70km away from Torquay and an hour's travel time or thereabouts.
Torquay can therefore make a great stopping off point for visitors from other parts of the UK who are on the way to or from France and Spain.
It is possible to pick up car hire at the airport and alternatively a taxi to and from Torquay will cost about £45.00 which when split between a number of travellers is good value for money.
The two largest operators from Exeter airport are Tui and Ryan Air.
Brittany Ferries is the main operator of cross channel ferry services to and from Plymouth. There are two main routes. The first is between Plymouth and Roscoff in Brittany, France. The crossings are between 6 and 8 hours and there are one or two services a day depending upon the season.
There are also crossings to Santander in Spain. These take just over 20 hours and operate twice a week with departures on a Wednesday and Sunday.
