What's on during the Easter Weekend across Torquay and The English Riviera.

Over the Easter Bank Holiday Weekend there are plenty of things to amuse and entertain visitors of any age.

Kicking off the weekend on Good Friday 18th April, the Babbacombe Theatre presents Take That Everything Changes.

There of course some Easter specific activities such as Easter egg trails such as those at the Bababcombe Model Village and Kent's Cavern.

There are also trails at both the National Trust Properties Greenway and Coleton Fishacre.

There are some non Easter specific activities such as the Festival of Blossom at Greenway which begins on 30th March and ends on 30th April. Coleton Fishacre also has their own Festival of Blossom from 20th March to 30th April.   Lupton House  has a hanging basket worskshop on 18th April.

On Easter Monday (21st April) the Babbacombe Theatre is hosting a show which is a must for all little princesses (and their families) - The Enchanted Princess Ball

The Meaning Of Easter

Easter is the most important celebration for Christians marking as it does the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and over the Easter weekend there are always plenty of church services and public commemorations.

The nearest church to Muntham is St Matthias which is just a five minute walk away.

For non Christians, the pagan elements of the spring celebrations ( the bunnies and the eggs) also remind us of rebirth after winter and renewed hope for the year.
